Welcome to our Test Lab
We're currently developing prototypes that retrieve data from buildings for presentation to their users, and the wider public. We've connected a chain of devices and software from sensors inside buildings, to our monitoring and control system, to gateway data aggregation devices, cloud data storage services, and visualisation services.
Four of these prototype projects are shown below. Some are viewable to the public, others are restricted to client teams or testing groups.
They're all in varying stages of completion, and we're really keen to get your feedback via our contact form. As this stuff is all being tested, let us know if you see any errors or bugs too....
Public test dashboard to show real-time and historic data from New Zealand's first certified Net Zero Energy home. View representation of energy flows between the PV system, home and grid in real-time, and daily, weekly or annual balances of energy generation and consumption. When ready, this will be shifted onto the Zero Energy House website.
Camp Glenorchy prototypes
Password-protected for C-GY team members, this page holds digital prototypes for the data-driven educational elements we are creating for Camp Glenorchy. This includes the Guest App and concepts for what will ultimately be implemented as mechanical dials that represent energy consumption and generation in real-time.
Evident office dashboard
Evident works out of the Thinkspace shared office in Eden Terrace, Auckland. We've installed sensors that monitor office temperature, humidity and CO2. Meters measure our energy use and control logic is used to automate lighting and appliances. This dashboard shows energy profiles, indoor air quality data will be added soon.
We started Evident three years ago with a goal to create an online place where leading-edge building projects could be used to trigger widespread change in the market. We've been working hard at an internal working prototype of this, and will be sharing with test groups over 2017. Contact us if you'd like to find out more.
